My Rather Large Extremeties Are Becoming A Problem.
by Englishman ini'm not excessively tall at just over 6 feet.
however, i must have been first in line when god was dishing out hands, feet and heads.
to date it hasn't been much of a problem except when i have to travel 25 miles to the nearest shoe shop to get a size 14 (uk).

Maybe where you order the bracelet can send you an extra chain or put you in contact with the maker and you will always have extra links on hand when needed, but jewlers alot of times have them laying around.

What is the biggest negative and biggest positive to being a jw?
by skittles4u ini am very curious to your respones.

If I have to pick the biggest negitive (there are many) I would have to say leagally murdering their children. By this I mean withholding blood if it could save a child. Adults are on their own, but a kid has no say. That to me is murder.
The only positive thing I can think of is I was always afraid of getting caught doing something so I didn't. That probably kept me out of alot of trouble.
Edited to add: Chevy....stay out of the sun girl. You're burnt! OUCH!

I thought it was interesting that they said that the tour guide would help them have fun and enjoy some of the sites around New York, such as the United Nations and the Twin Towers complex. I think they need to do some updating of their web site. They are no longer in cahootes with the U.N. (no need to advertise for them any more) and thanks to a few crazy terrorists we no longer have a Twin Tower complex. Do ya think someone should tell them?

kls, I was laughing so hard just reading about your little joke it brought tears to my eyes. I can soooo picture it. Thanks for the laugh I needed that.
I forgot to say my worst qualities. I'm too cynical, judgemental on myself and others and take things way too seriously.

Have you ever sprain something ?
by Xandria inwell, the day started okay.. sigh.
any one have a remedy for a twisted ankle?
it is swollen on the top and the arch is tender, as well as a few toes.
-

Poor Xandria.......They are so painful. Rest Ice C? Elevate. Keep it elevated so the fluids don't puddle as much and cause more swelling. Keep well medicated the first couple days. Don't worry about your pride. I'm sure no one thought anything but how to help you.
Hubby sprained his ankle several times, I have never. Once you do it, it seems to stay weak or proned to recur. The best thing he has found is the air cast the doctor gave him. It supports very well and keeps the swelling down alot. It stablizes the ankle so you can function much more and less painfully then with out it. It is hard plastic with a pillow of air between it and the skin. He keeps one with him in the truck so he can get it on right away reducing the damage if it goes out again.

Maybe I hoard things too much?
by Simon ini've just been sorting out various paperwork and going through the filing cabinet.
as well as every pay advice i've ever had (20+ years worth back to '83) i also have every bank statement, every cheque stub and, erm ... a big wad of atm receipts going back at least 10 years !
i just can't stand to throw things away for fear that i may need them one day!!.

I also am plagued with the disease of hoarding. You are not alone Simon. Paperwork is my biggest downfall. I keep everything.
I did some thinking about it, and came to the conclusion that it validates my existence. I WAS HERE! or THERE! depending how long ago it was. I have utility bills from 30 years ago, are they antique yet? I also save nuts and bolts. It is very frustrating to know I have "One of those somewhere" but can't find it when I need it. I buy another and when I clean up I find 8 of them.
Last summer I was in purge mode and did very well getting rid of alot of junk. Plan to do the same this year. Wish me luck.
